Morning Round Up
Before I even had a chance to have my breakfast this morning, I had already reached for a gaggle of oils and products, so thought I'd share what I'm using today!
Last night we took our 3 1/2 year olds on a walk and what do you know, they both took falls. They are clumsy like their mother! So after our walk and then again this morning, I covered their knees in Owie oil, which is from the kidscents line. This blend is amazing for soothing sensitive skinand helps ease the pain from cuts and scrapes and bruises and also helps fight any infection that could happen. Then on top of that I added a layer of the Animal Scents Ointment. This stuff is the exact same as the Rose Ointment, except there is no Rose oil in the animal one. We use it a ton, it basically replaced the Neosporin we were buying before.
Once the girls were all doctored up I grabbed my Deep Relief roll-on. I have a bum left shoulder that always feels tight and knotty when I wake up, so I roll this stuff all over my shoulder blade and it's like instant relief for the tension. I love the cool feeling it leaves on my skin too!
And thank you Mother Nature for bringing me my period today (insert sarcasm!) Dragon Time is a blend that I use every month to help with cramps, bloating and hormones. I use about 3 drops of this stuff with a bit of carrier oil for easier spreading, and I rub it right on my abdomen. I can't be without this stuff. I also learned from a fellow oiler that the new Seedlings Baby Oil makes for an amazing carrier oil, and they were right!
During my period I also use Progessence Plus, which contains natural occurring progesterone that is derived from wild yams! It's another blend that is great for overall hormone balance, PMS, menopause, low libido, promotes relaxation, postpartum, low energy, helps support the thyroid, and the list goes on and on. I use 2 drops of this rubbed on my forearms while I'm on my period. I also notice my periods are shorter when I'm using it, so that's a win win! This oil is also amazing for your skin so you could add a drop or 2 in the morning and at night along with your facial routine for added skin support.
